70-Acre Lake St. Charles

This large lake is the jewel of the community. There are two community docks and pole fishing is allowed in the lake. A Canoe & Kayak boat launch is due to be completed by June 2006. Boats with electric motors are permitted on the lake. The Lake Trail provides residents with access and views to the ever-changing beauty and wildlife of this beautiful lake. Two beautiful fountains that light up at night enhance the view.

Lake St. Charles is located in Riverview and gives the sense of being far away from the world, but in reality its best kept secret is how conveniently located it is to just about every major roadway. Residents are forever spoiled by quick and easy access to Interstate 75, Interstate 4, the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway and Hwy 301. Downtown Tampa is an easy commute.

Nature is a big part of Lake St. Charles. The subdivision encircles a scenic 70-acre lake, and the homes nestle in and around conservation areas that are thick with oaks, wetlands, and ponds. The community clubhouse overlooks a large pool and the lake and is the perfect place to watch the setting sun.

Paved Lake Trail

A much-loved paved Lake Trail meanders along the lake's edge and passes through shady woods thick with oak trees and dotted with many ponds. It is an approximate 2-mile loop that also follows a quiet stream, crossing it twice via two small wooden bridges. The Lake Trail passes by every Lake St. Charles community amenity. There are 10 Fitness Stations installed along the Lake Trail: 1). Leg Lift; 2). Sit-Ups; 3). Parallel Bars; 4). Vertical Climb; 5). Horizontal Ladder; 6). Step-Up; 7). Chin-Up; 8). Jump-Up; 9). Balance Beam; and, 10). Body Curl.
